Buy PC (Personal Computer) ?? What to buy ?? Why buy ?? Some tips and tricks and warnings !!! A complete guideline for buying a PC suitable for young children

There is a possibility that you have decided to buy a PC soon or in the near future. You have no previous experience in buying a PC or there is no one around who can give you guidelines in this regard. There is nothing to worry about !! Buying a PC may seem like a daunting task to many, but it's not really that complicated. With a little courage and self-confidence, anyone can fix their own PC configuration and go out to buy a PC alone. Even then, for those who still have some fear in their minds, maybe this article of mine can allay their fears and restore their self-confidence.

In this article I will try to give you a complete guide line in very simple language before buying a PC. Most of the things that will be here are taken from my previous experience and some simple technical things are taken from the net. At the same time I have tried not to use any complex words in this text so that the new ones have trouble understanding !! And for this reason I have deliberately avoided many complex technical terms !! Those who are experienced in these matters can also read this article of mine if they want and can point out the mistakes in my writing. I hope I can help you to enrich the post by attaching your information to my post !!

In this article, I have divided PC users into 3 levels of counseling. So let's find out what level of user can be !!

Level-1: These are normal PC users. Their main purpose is to listen to music on PC, watch movies, play games for fun and do light type work. A fair quality PC is enough for them.
Level-2: Users of this level are a bit like Level-1 but they are a bit fancy type. And while the scope of their work is not great, they expect something a little better because of their quick wit and foresight.
Level-3: I call them pro-level. In other words, they are fancy but the scope of their work is huge. Such as hardcore gaming, video editing, multitasking etc.
So let's see how I can help you overcome your fears ...... !! 🙂

Processor:

What is this thing, I think there is no need to explain. Even a year ago, there was no problem with the brand selection of PROCESSOR. Intel had an exclusive dominance in the market. But now the context has changed. AMD's processors have now entered the market of Bangladesh to confuse those who understand Intel as a processor. However, AMD has not yet established a strong position in the market like Intel. Yet it is in no way behind Intel. On the contrary, in some cases it has overtaken Intel. There is still a misconception among many that AMD's processor seems to be too hot !!! And to disprove this idea, I say, the processor must be hot. And to keep it at a tolerable level, the hitsink that is being given now with the processors of AMD is very effective. Therefore, there is no more tension with the AMD processor overheating.

However, which brand of processor to buy is entirely up to you. Because in the war between Intel and AMD, no one gave up. For example: Intel has hyper threading technology. Which speeds up the work by splitting the single core processor during multitasking. AMD, on the other hand, has "hyper transport" technology. When buying a processor, look at the specifications on the packet, how much is its FSB (Front Side Bus), how much is the cache memory? What level of cache memory? What is the clock speed? - I hope you know.

If the FSB (Front Side Bus) is more, the performance of your PC will increase. Also try to take more cache memory. Processors currently have L-1 (Level-1), L-2 (Level-2), L-3 (Level-3) cache memory. Note here that L-3 (Level-3) cache memory is the new technology. Although its circumference is large, its speed is low. The L-2 (Level-2) is much faster and more expensive than this. However, the most expensive and speedy is L-1 (Level-1) cache memory. However, the amount of them in the processor is less. So try to get more L-1 (Level-1) and L-2 (Level-2) cache memory. However, due to this, the price of the processor may be a little higher. And more current L-3 (Level-3) cache memory but a kind of iwash! Many people attach extra importance to it as it is a new technology. But it is a kind of business strategy !! The clock speed of the processor is a measure of how fast the processor will work.

Such as: If a processor is Core 2 Duo 2.67 Ghz. But here the clock speed of the processor is 2.67 Ghz !! If you are a level-1 user then dual core is enough for you right now. However, if you want a budget, you can also take Core-to-Duo (if available in the market). And Level-2 will tell you that since Core-to-Duo or Core-to-Quad are not available in the market at the moment, you can take Intel's Core-i3 or Core i5 at most (if you can afford it). However, if you want, you can also take the 4 core processor of AMDA's Phenom Cinez. Performance will be much better than the price. Now let's turn to Level-3 users !!

Since the scope of your work is huge and many of you are pro level, I will ask you to take Intel's second generation Core-i7 processor at this moment or AMD's Phenom series 6 or 8 core processor. However, in my experience, AMD processors perform much better than Intel in video editing. And the price is a bit lower than that. Since hardcore gaming, high level video editing, 3D animation requires quite a powerful processor, you can buy a powerful processor in the market right now to meet your demand. Recently, AMD has released an 8-core processor, codenamed "Bulldozer". After having sadha, you can go towards it if you can. 🙂

Motherboard:
No matter how inexperienced you are as a PC user, there is no need to explain what it is. Keep an eye on your processor when it comes to motherboard selection. Buy a motherboard that matches the type of socket the processor supports, such as the processor's connector. Although that sounded a bit silly. Because there is really nothing to worry about selection in the processor socket. Because your vendor will recommend you to the motherboard by matching it with the processor. Even then some words remain. No matter what level of user you are, buy a good brand motherboard that matches your processor.

Level-1 and Level-2 users should buy a fairly quality motherboard. However, I would advise Level-3 to buy quality full motherboard even if the price is high. Buy something that has a good reputation in the market. Also find out about the different connectors on the motherboard. For example: how many RAM slots, what type, how many bus speeds does RAM support, how many slots for graphics card, what hardware will support differently on the motherboard, what level can be upgraded next time upgrade, how much hard disk will support, motherboard How many expansion slots are empty for later use etc etc !!!

Simply put, decide to buy a motherboard by gathering enough information from the market. Although it would be foolish to comment on which brand of motherboard would be better, I can still say that I put ASUS and Gigabyte above all as my personal choice of motherboard. 🙂

RAM (Random Access Memory):
What is this thing? Don't eat, have pity on your head - I hope you don't have to listen to this type of question. Because as far as I know bloggers are much smarter and more aware now. Currently DDR-3 RAM is seen in the market. DDR-2 RAM is also seen in some shops. Hopefully, this DDR-2 RAM will go to the museum in a few days. If you are going to buy RAM now, I hope you will buy considering the type of RAM the motherboard will support. However, all the current motherboards have the support of the latest DDR-3 RAM. Some motherboards have DDR-3 RAM as well as DDR-2 support. Simply put, you will buy the kind of RAM that your motherboard will support. Now let's come to the light guide line about buying RAM !!

From my experience, most of the buyers go to the store and are quite careless about the brand or quality of RAM. They only redeem the amount of RAM they will use on the motherboard by telling the seller !! Which brand, how much bus speed RAM is to be paid is decided by the seller and in most cases the seller has given many unknown brand of RAM to the buyer in the hope of making more profit. But the reality is that RAM selection is also a great matter. Which many buyers don't care about. The performance of a RAM depends on its chip. And well-known expensive brands usually use good quality chips. That's why even though the memory is the same, their RAM costs a little more than the others. So, I would like to tell those who are reading my article today to be smart enough about every hardware selection of PC. Because a PC is made of a lot of hardware.

For those who are Level-1 and Level-2 users, I would say buy a good brand of RAM according to the budget depending on the type of RAM your motherboard supports. And in this case I think it is extremely foolish to use RAM below 4 gigabytes at the moment. You can use more if you can. Because RAM is a hardware, which helps to greatly increase the performance of the PC at a lower cost. And for those who are Level-3 users, I would tell them to buy more RAM than you can afford right now. In this case you can use 8 GB DDR-3 RAM at the moment. Also try to buy the bus speed RAM that your motherboard supports the most, if possible. If you want to use 4 GB RAM on the motherboard, use only 4 GB instead of 2 GB instead of 2 GB.

This will leave the RAM slots of the motherboard empty and you can increase the performance of the PC by adding more RAM to those empty slots during the next PC upgrade. In the case of RAM, there are some terms called dual channel, triple channel and quad channel. If you do not understand the matter, find out by talking to the seller. Although the market is now littered with Chinese RAM. Even then, I would advise you to avoid Taiwan's RAM and use Taiwan's RAM. Because there are no Japanese RAMs in the market at the moment. I personally prefer A-Data for the brand of RAM. However, at present, the motherboard of some motherboards mentions the brand of better supporting RAM. I hope you will notice before buying RAM.

Hard Disk Drive:

We store all our PC related activities on all hard disks. Nowadays, with the increase in the scope of work, the scope of hard disk is also increasing. For example: now if you want to give space to a Windows, you have to give a minimum of 20 GB space. At the same time many more programs, movies, audio-video songs and games now occupy a huge space. Nowadays, many people prefer space for hard disk drive choice. And so on to buy a PC

Such as: buffer, rotation speed (expressed in RPM), latency, data transfer rate, interface, etc. Those who are advanced users, hopefully they will be able to make a decision about buying a hard disk drive by collecting information from the net. But people like me who are a bit inexperienced can be reminded of a trusted seller. However, you can also decide to buy based on the opinions of other users.

At present the price of hard disk drive is much higher. Even then I would advise Level-1 users not to take a hard disk below 500 gigabytes at the moment. And you can take 1 tera if you can. For Level-2 and Level-3 users, it is advisable to take a 1 tera space hard disk drive. However, I will tell Level-3 users to try to buy a hard disk by looking at the space as well as the internal specifications of the hard disk drive. For example, a hard disk drive of 7200 rpm with SATA-2 interface is quite available in the market at present. However, SATA-3 hard disk will also be available in the market soon. Level-3 users who will work with multimedia and HD video at Pro level will try to buy a hard disk drive of 10000 RPM if possible. Although the price is much higher than the space. As a brand and model of hard disk, Western Digital Caviar Black is my favorite at the moment. Although the price is a little higher.

And for those who are very enthusiastic, they can dream of a solid state drive. Because with the price of 250 giga, you can buy ten more hard disks of 1 tera size.

Graphics Card (PCI Express Card):

I think many bloggers are quite restless !! Graphics cards are the only two companies currently dominating the market. AMD and Nvidia. Although they basically make chipsets for graphics cards. And using those chipsets, different companies make their graphics cards. A year ago, I could have declared one winner by comparing the chipsets of two different companies. But now the situation is completely different. Now no one is inferior to anyone. However, as far as some of my real experience and data from some forum sites on the net are concerned, it seems that the performance of the cards made by Nvidia chip is comparatively better among the low budget graphics cards. And if the budget is high, then the cards with radio chipset are comparatively better.

If you want a graphics card, you can write a whole post, but they had so much technical information that many people would go over their heads !! However, I do not recommend any level of graphics card selection. But let's discuss what features a graphics card should have for any job.

Many people use graphics card memory to measure the performance of their card. Which is absolutely wrong. How well a card will perform depends on a number of factors, the most important of which is the chipset !! This is the life of the card !! Notice how powerful it is. Let me give you a small example: a 5GB megabyte card with a Radio 4650 chipset will definitely perform better than a 1GB card with a Radion 460 chipset.

However, if you play games with high resolution on a large monitor, then the memory of the card is very important. You also need to take care of the different ports on the card, such as DVI or HDMI port, display port, VGA, TV output, etc. There were some more pro-level issues that needed to be discussed but things may seem complicated to many, so I'm avoiding them for now. As a graphics card brand my choice is in the very first position - ASUS, Gigabyte, Sapphire.

Sound card:

For those who watch more movies, play games, and above all expect better sound quality, I would say that you can give up the illusion of a built-in sound card on the motherboard and buy a sound card for around Rs 2,500-3,000. But for those who are a little more optimistic, I would say that you can buy a sound card of Creative's X-Fi series for 7000-8000 rupees.

In my view, it is an investment whose output will never seem old to you. This means that you have to constantly think about upgrading the graphics card to compete with different games, but I hope this will not be the case with this sound card.

Optical Drive:

Don't understand this thing ?? The disk drive you use with the casing is called optical drive. No matter what level you are in, buying a DVD Writer is a must for you right now !!

Because their price is not so high. However, those who are in Level-3, those who are fancy and can afford enough, they can buy a Blu-ray drive if they want. The price can be around 12000 rupees. Many people can suggest many names as a brand of optical drive. But I personally like ASUS, LITEON.

CPU cooler:

Does the name sound a little weird ?? I hope you will understand if you explain a little. The cooling system used to keep your processor cool is called the CPU cooler. Now maybe he started thinking that, hey !! It stays with you when you buy the processor. What else do you need to buy new !! Yes, you got it right. But I hope many people have an idea of how effective the cooler that is available with the processor is

Casing:

I think a lot of people just like the design. Some people are very indifferent about it. My advice in this regard is to buy a casing as big as possible without listening to anyone. So that the hardware you have set up inside the casing gets a chance to breathe even if it is a little bit. I see many people buying briefcase size casing. Which is absolutely wrong. If there is not enough space for ventilation in your casing then the hardware is forced to heat up very quickly !! Choose a casing that has enough space and a cooling system, as well as a separate cooling fan - try this type of casing. For those who are in Level-3, I would say buy a good quality large casing with liquid cooling as well as all the other features mentioned above. Prices may fall further. This is the best option when it comes to cooling the PC hardware. There are several casings of Thermaltake brand available in the market of Bangladesh, some of which are quite budget friendly. You can find out by looking.

I will tell those who are in level-1 to buy a good brand casing for 2500-3000 rupees. It has a fairly good quality 250 watt power supply. In this case you can choose Space or Fox edge as the brand.

There are many. Now let's talk about some preparations before buying a PC !! Here are some tips to keep in mind before buying a PC to get rid of many troubles in the future ....

So let's know what those tips are ...........
Patiently collect information: From my personal experience I have seen how I know after deciding to buy a PC and can not be patient. Which is absolutely a sign of stupidity. I would advise you to go to the market and collect enough information about the hardware before buying the PC in whatever configuration you want. It may be that if your configuration is not fixed, then after going to the market to collect information, you can fix your own PC configuration.

Adjust the PC configuration with the future in mind: Many would suggest that you adjust the PC configuration based on your current work needs. I totally disagree with that. In my opinion, fix the configuration of the PC by thinking in advance about what you will use the PC for today, as well as what you can do with the PC in the near future. But in this case, keep an eye on the budget.

Be careful with the right vendor or organization selection: Where you will buy the PC from, i.e. from which vendor, be a little condition in the selection. Because in my view it is a very important thing. Sellers or organizations that have been doing business with a reputation for a long time, who have good after sales service, warranty support is much better - you can decide to buy a PC from them. And you can get this information from the feedback of other PC users. This is why I said this so that after selecting the wrong seller, if there is any problem and you go to seek support, you should not see the sullen face of the seller.

The above tips I have collected from my real experience. So I thought I would share it with those who are going to buy a PC or are interested in it. Finally, thank you all. Hope you are well.
